How to get here

BY CAR
Getting to Bahari Pori Bandas by car is extremely easy. In addition, Dar es Salaam and Arusha host a variety of fairly economic car rental companies such as:
– Avis
– Europecar
– Evergreen
– Greentourcarhire
– Hertz
– Smartcars

– From Dar es Salaam
Take the road to Bagamoyo ( 80 km), than to Msata ( 65 km), and right to Segera ( 130 km). At Segera crossroad, turn right and head towards “Tanga/Muheza”. Once in Muheza, you will find a sign for Pangani (42 kms) on the right. Follow the road until you get to the next crossroad, then turn left and one last sign will direct you towards Bahari Pori Bandas (5kms).

– From Tanga
Take the road to Pangani and, after 37 kms, you will see a direction sign for Bahari Pori Bandas.

BY BUS
Aside from the so-called “dala dala” – minibuses regularly traveling back and forth between Tanga and Pangani -, Tanga is well connected daily to Dar es Salaam, Arusha and Mombasa.
Also, we offer free shuttle services to and from Tanga for customers staying longer than 5 nights.

BY TAXI
On request, we arrange taxi transfers for Tanga airport/bus stand ( cost around 50 $).

BY PLANE
You can get to Tanga by plane either from Dar es Salaam or Arusha.
